The demo starts up with an intro from the MC, P.I. Sam Steele. It's beautifully illustrated in a monochrome style as the characters are introduced.
Then our rugged hero Steele is joined at the bar by the mysterious British chick Emily. She tells Steele she's being spied on and begs him for help. Steele reluctantly agrees.
Sensing something is afoot, Steele follows Emily back to her apartment and watches her get undressed through the window. Kind pervy but hey, we're not complaining!
Then we meet a feisty redhead nerdy chick called Minty. She and Steele sweep Emily's house for bugs (and sex toys).
When it's all over, Emily gives Steele a special treat. There's an interactive CG scene where you get to choose how the action goes down. Will you fuck her pussy or her ass? Will you squeeze her tits or choke her with your tie? It's a fun and flexible scene.
The whole game has a voiceover from a great voice cast, who really brings the characters to life. There's music too, with a suitably jazzy vibe running through the game. We loved the moody, dark atmosphere the game creates.
Overall the demo is super short at just 20 minutes long. We'd have liked to have seen more - there's clearly a lot of intricate storytelling going on in the demo.
