Players take on a role of a Captain of the Mary Celeste spaceship, who recruits the horniest and most skilled female fighters for his crew to take down the evil empire. While leading a rebellion against the conservative government, they will also assist you in lewd activities.

Speaking of the gameplay, Subverse is a Sci-Fi RPG where you get to explore the universe, fight against different fractions like pirates, bounty hunters or warrior pleasure droids in turn-based combats or shoot 'em up missions. - Fixed extremely stretched body parts and hair on Lily, Sova and Taron in the Sweater outfit in Pandora.
- Fixed a large gap at Lily's neck and waist in the Pilot outfit in Pandora; further improvements are planned.
- Changed DEMI's Butterfly Lingerie from orange to blue as intended.
- Fixed enemy ships not moving in the Unity Ambush Sova fight.
- Fixed a visual artifact during Erark's hologram scene.
- Fixed dialogue background music playing at very low volume after loading a save that starts a dialogue section.

Free outfits, new Taron audiotapes and bug fixes
- Added four free outfits for all owners: Bunny, Butterfly Lingerie, Gothic and Sweater, with some characters excluded.
- Added character-specific outfits for Lily (Apron, Boob Runner, Pilot), Elaisha, Sova, Fortune and Blythe.
- DEMI's voice line now plays in Engineering when new Taron shop items are available.
- DEMI and Blythe have new "About Recent Events" chats after Fow-chan is recruited.
- Added two new Taron audiotapes, "Plug It In" and "Tamed", plus extra Taron voice lines on Sova Tape 2 and Elaisha Tape 4.
- Adjusted and added sound effects for several older Pandora scenes and added voice lines and SFX to Grid Combat.
- Fixed the tentacle disappearing for a few frames in the Fortune Pandora scene "Slimy".
- Fixed missing FUTA material recolor on DEMI Ascended Teal and NeonGreen outfits.
- Fixed Killi's hair textures not loading with non-default outfits.
- Eldritch Trials callout now hides after at least one wave is completed.
- Taron Shop callout now updates when new items are available, and a bag icon shows when hovering over Engineering.
- Fixed Fow-chan voice audio continuing to play when the screen is paused or during loading screens.
